Situated on the south side of Cork City in an area known as Ballygarvan, Cork International Airport is Ireland’s second busiest after Dublin, handling over 2.7 million passengers in 2005. Low cost carriers such as Jet 2, Easyjet, BMI Baby and Ryanair all operate flights at Cork Airport and Aer Lingus offer good connections to destinations within the UK and Europe. Regular city buses connect to Cork Bus Station in about 25 minutes. To fly to Cork the airport code to use is ORK.
