| Larnaca Airport (LCA) |
Larnaca International Airport is Cyprus’s main international airport. Originally the British Armed Forces used the airport. It has two large terminals and a larger building at the rear for arrivals, which was expanded in February 2006. Cyprus is a major tourist destination and sees around 5 million people a year pass through the airport, but as the airport wasn’t designed for the capacity it is being further developed which should be finished by 2009. For a flight to Larnaca the airport code to use is LCA.
